Inspirational Newborn Images
“Sometimes I sits and thinks, sometimes I just sits…” cooed the delightful Winnie the Pooh. While updating my photo galleries recently, I spent time sorting through heaps of pictures. And I got lost in the message each photograph seemed to tell. I sat and thought and sat some more. And then I thought: I’ve got to pass on the wonder, the joy … the wisdom that some of these images are itching to share. So, here are four inspirational newborn images that are sure to make your day.
Inspirational Newborn Images: Keep Your Eyes Open
If anyone ever doubted that the eyes are the window to the soul, they’ll have to explain this image. He seems to see right into my soul with those large, round, irresistible, pensive, dark eyes … and illuminated by his charm, I start to see the wonder in today and in every day. If I keep my eyes open.
*Sigh* See what I mean by inspirational newborn images?
Sometimes, just sitting is exactly the tonic one needs.
Inspirational Newborn Images: Keep Your Ears Open
With her little hand cupped behind her ear, this little beauty seems to urge me to listen. No, urge is too strong. She’s wooing me. Wooing anyone with ears to hear. Shh! Listen. Really listen. It’s not just the hills that are alive with the sound of music. If John A. Logan was right when he said, “Music’s the medicine of the mind,” then we’ve already found the elixir of life. We only have to keeps our ears open and listen.
*Sigh!* Sometimes, sitting and listening is just what the doctor ordered.
Inspirational Newborn Images: Keep Your Heart Open
*Sigh!* That’s got to be the most contented little face you’ve seen in a while, right? And while it’s easy to be content after successfully completing a goal, it’s finding rest before we’ve achieved the objective that often opens the door to opportunity in the first place. Keeping our heart open by choosing to rest our inner world, keeping it clear of clutter and free of negativity, swings wide the gates of favour and fortune.
The inspirational Helen Keller said, “The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched – they must be felt with the heart.” To see, to touch, to feel … to believe. Every day is filled with opportunity. Keep your heart open.
Inspirational Newborn Images: Keep Your Mind Open
My own little thinker! Sigh! And now you know exactly what I mean by inspirational newborn images.
This little beauty got me thinking … and out of thin air, this blog post became a possibility. Some brainstorming, editing, writing, posting and voila! it became a reality. But … but without the thinking, and an open mind, it would never have even been a possibility. I’m told that it’s more than half the battle won.
Emily Dickinson said, “The Possible’s slow fuse is lit by the Imagination.” Igniting the imagination requires an open mind, right?
In his practical and probing way, Mahatma Gandhi probably said it best: “Man often becomes what he believes himself to be. If I keep on saying to myself that I cannot do a certain thing, it is possible that I may end by really becoming incapable of doing it. On the contrary, if I have the belief that I can do it, I shall surely acquire the capacity to do it even if I may not have it at the beginning.”
And to think, I got all this inspiration out of Winnie the Pooh: “Sometimes I sits and thinks, sometimes I just sits…” (Thank you, A. A. Milne! For a gift that keeps on giving.)
